What to Bring to Court

Before you come to court, here are the things you should bring with you:

  • Proper identification (driver's license, Missouri ID, passport)
  • Your copy of the citation
  • Appearance letter and/or court documents
  • Any receipts regarding your case (i.e., bond receipts, cash bail receipts, etc.)
  • Any documents which prove compliance with the judge's orders and/or sentencing
  • Method of payment (money, credit card, checkbook, debit card)
  • Do not use nicknames or an alias. Use the same spelling as listed on documents related to the case and ensure spelling on the documents is correct. If they are not, please advise the court
  • Provide the court with your current address
  • Appropriate dress is required. No obscene slogans on clothing or hats. Shirt and shoes are required.
  • Please silence your cell phone before court begins

If you are under 18 years of age, you must bring a parent or legal guardian to court with you.

The Normandy Municipal Court is held at City Hall, 7700 Natural Bridge Road.

Please check your ticket for your exact court date. If you have any questions, please call the Court Clerk’s Office at 314-333-3200

Your court date is set by the officer who gives you the citation. Only the Court Clerk can change your court date. A written request and proper documentation may be required for the Court Clerk to consider your request..

Court Etiquette

Overview

The mission of the Normandy Municipal Court is to provide superior customer service to every individual. In return, the Court expects all visitors to respect the Court and its employees. Court should be treated as a place of business. Below are several helpful hints you should know before your scheduled court date:

  • It is important that visitors understand the appropriate dress code. Shirts and shoes are required and hats and sunglasses are to be removed before entering the courtroom
  • All pagers and cell phones must be turned off before entering the courtroom
  • Please be patient; the docket is called first come, first serve
  • No food or drinks are allowed in the courtroom
  • No weapons are allowed in the courtroom
