Derelict, Unlicensed, Illegally Parked vehicles on Public or Private Property

All vehicles, or parts or vehicles, self-powered, or non self-powered found upon any lot or part of lots, or on any street, alley, easement, right-of-way, or highway within City limits, and which is inoperable, disassembled, wrecked, dilapidated, abandoned, unlicensed, or parked on a non-hard surface shall be considered a derelict vehicle, thereby making it a public nuisance, detrimental to the health, safety, and welfare of the public.

Automobile Stickers

Automobile stickers are available on request for each resident with a registered vehicle in the City of Normandy.  Stickers are NOT mandatory.

Use of Coasters, Roller skates and similar devices restricted.

No person upon roller skates, or riding in or by means of any coaster, toy vehicle or similar device, shall go upon any roadway except while crossing a street in a crosswalk and when so crossing, such person shall be granted all of the rights and shall be subject to all of the duties applicable to pedestrians, except on designated play streets.

Motorized Bicycle/Bicycles

No person shall ride a bicycle upon a sidewalk within a business district.  When upon a sidewalk, such person shall yield the right-of-way to any pedestrian and shall give audible signal before overtaking and passing such pedestrian.  No person shall ride a motorized bicycle upon a sidewalk.
