OPERATIONS
The Normandy Police Department Operates under the direct supervision Of Colonel Frank A. Mininni, Chief of Police.
The operations or patrol division consists of four squads. Each squad is made up of patrol officers and supervised by a Sergeant. The patrol division provides 24 hour services to our residents and visitors 365 days per year. The men and women of the patrol division utilize cars, bicycles, foot patrols, and ATV’s to provide complete patrol services to our community.
The Operations Support Division consists of the Bureau of Criminal Investigation, C.A.R.T. (Community Activated Response Team), K9 unit, Court Services, and the D.A.R.E. program.
The Community Activated Response Team or C.A.R.T. as we call them, is manned by three veteran officers and two K9’s. These officers do not answer regular calls for service as their sole purpose is to eradicate guns, drugs, and gangs from our community. The C.A.R.T. team also has the ability to focus their attention on specific areas in our community that may be experiencing an increase in crime.

The Court Services Bureau provides all court related services.
D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) is taught in all elementary schools in the City of Normandy in an effort to reach the youth of our community at a time when learning the messages D.A.R.E. represents is most crucial.
